Dexter Adams gets married

It's always a big deal in the community when one of the Adams clan gets married. Dexter is the current heir, and his bride is Yue Xiulan Kim, of course. They've been together since their first prom - and they keep that picture on their dresser:

There was a bit of an upset in the bride's household, as her brother had no wish to dress up in a 'monkey suit' for the wedding.

Ho Sung was very upset at his son, but Huan Chao insisted that he'd rather stay home and listen to his own music. In the end, they went without him.

After the rainy proposal it was a relief to find out that the wedding day was actually bright and sunny.

The parents of the bride were very emotional throughout the ceremony:

The groom's uncle Victor was touched by the spectacle as well:

Although little Gwendolyn (now a child) was less impressed. She was more interested in the snowcone machine than in watching the actual ceremony.

The ceremony was short and sweet, and followed by cake, of course:

The party went on until long after nightfall. Here's Dexter with his cousin Chen, and Chen's son Michael.

Yue and Dexter moved into Dexter's old bedroom - with new furniture. Gwendolyn has the second upstairs bedroom and her parents moved downstairs. Gwendolyn's old nursery is still intact, Dexter and Yue hope that they can use it themselves in the near future.
