Adams: Lifetime wishes, and a funeral

Yue Xiulan has managed to finish the Inventor profession to level 10. She also achieved her LTW of becoming a Descendant of DaVinci.

Shawn and Lori spend their honeymoon in France. They also travel to Egypt and China. Lori just works on her skills, while Shawn explores dungeons.

They buy a gem cutter to make the most of all those uncut gems they keep bringing home. Shawn travels back to China to get his final visa points there - and a cool gadget.

Finally he does reach his Great Explorer lifetime wish, and they start thinking of planning a family.

Both boys still live at home. Roger is working as an acrobat. Shawn's not sure that the (wooden) barn is the best place to practice, but Roger seems to feel the added risk of burning the place down will keep him sharp...

In the meantime, across the street, Chen Adams has reached his Lifetime Wish of becoming a Professional Author, and he spent the reward points on a gadget called a Philosopher's Stone that is supposed to turn anything to gold.

He becomes quite obsessed with it - turning fruit, seeds and rocks into gold bars, which he then sells. He already has the largest house in Winchester, but apparently he wants more.

He gets a little greedy, though, and tries one time too many.

So the house across the street now has an interesting new statue. And the graveyard has a golden ghost.

(I do wonder what they buried in the graveyard, since the mortal remains of Chen are forever on display in the street... Which, when I think of it, seems a bit disrespectful.)
