He's currently trying out arcade games. This zombie attack game is really great!
The Fox family home needs a bit of an upgrade, too. I never liked how it stood out among the other converted barns (and the deco barn). I don't want it to be red, but I do want to change a few things to make it blend in a bit more.
One thing I did was change the doors to be similar to the red barn doors. And use white windows. I also made the house a few tiles longer front and back, in a way that doesn't really change the basic structure, but gave me some room to play with upstairs.
They now have a truck, and the garden is smaller, but they still have all their plants.
Carlton is halfway to level 10 in his career, but he's not going to get there this round, as he has three days off now.

The Sommers kids are staying with their mother for a while. I think Jeanniene hopes they can inspire their little half-brothers to do better in school. Eric and Eliza are both on the honor roll, while Sevrin has a C and Serge is failing altogether.
One thing Eliza and Eric did need help with was their wardrobe - Jeanniene doesn't really understand what her ex-husband was thinking off, sending them over in mismatched clothing.
So both kids get a make-over.
(Eric doesn't seem crazy about his new outfit. I guess he regrets having to take off his pirate-y suit.)

At the Kim household nobody was any closer to achieving anything.
Christal is now a Conjurer of Cheap Tricks, which at least puts her in the right track (mystic, rather than scam artist). She just transferred her job from the gypsy wagon in the basement to a rabbithole rug in the basement of the potions shop.
This is the first furnished shop in the street. It's high time the other buildings were done, though...

Bernadette is getting close to the top of her career, but she has a lot of time off. She spends it painting - and scanning her paintings.
Huan Chao now registered as an Architectural Designer. Just to see whether he can do it.
Meanwhile the other Kim family - Yi Quan and Wu - are almost elders again. They still had a lot of mounted fishes on the wall. Apparently they missed the last clean-up round.

Wu has already mastered all the instruments (she's a One Sim Band) and she's at level 9 in the music career.

Carlton Fox got to the top of his career on Tuesday of the next week, just before I was going to move on to the Mack family. So I took a detour past the Fox household and had Carlton join the Business career while Bryan went into Journalism.
Of course Bryan, with his six degrees, started in Level 4 of the career. Carlton has only one degree, but it's in Business, so he also joined at Level 4.
