The Kim family again

The Kim family are all working on interesting careers and/or lifetime wishes, so they're very much in the Builder's spotlight these days.

Bianca Kim had to bury her sister this week. There was a buffet lunch after the funeral, and she was of course in her formal outfit for the occasion.

Bernadette wasn't at the funeral. She works from the criminal rabbithole, so she probably knows more about her Aunt Rosanna than anyone else in the family. She doesn't want to pay her 'respects' to her evil aunt if she can help it!

Christal did show up.

It's funny how much Christal looks like her cousin Gillian - they have the same long chin.

Janelle Harrell was there to comfort her twin sister - who didn't really need much comfort, to be honest.
But Daniel Harrell did. He came to the funeral by himself - presumably Sofia was too overwrought to attend her daughter's funeral?

But anyway, after the funeral it was business as usual in the Kim household.

First of all, Bianca achieves the top of her career. She's now a Master of Mysticism. She has an aura of her own now - not evil red, like her late sister, but a nice, restful shade of lavender blue.

(And yes, that's Alessia, who aged up this week.)

Bernadette is still working on her career as an art appraiser. She wants to become a forger, so she needs to work on her painting skill. And the added advantage is, she can actually scan her own paintings for extra job credit!

She also goes to various buildings around town to do 'side jobs'. It's really good for her job performance. With one or two side jobs every day, she's worked herself up to Level 6 already.

(There is apparently art in the delivery room of the hospital?)

Meanwhile Bernadette's boyfriend, Brendan Thao, is working on his career as a magician. He rolled the wish to become a Master Magician.

Bernadette and Brandon are still only dating. They are so busy with their jobs that they didn't really get around to fixing the date.

In the meantime it's summer again, and Alessia and Alistair are enjoying the fact that there's a playground so close to their house.

And Huan Chao has a run-in with a shark.

He wins, and the shark loses one of his teeth - just the thing Huan Chao needed to get to the top of his career!!
Now that Bernadette is also close to getting those 40,000 Simoleons she needs for her lifetime wish, maybe it's time for both girls to think about moving out?

* * *

In the meantime, the school where Bernadette went for her painting classes is finally decorated on the inside as well.

The principal's office is in the basement. As are the day classes for the pupils.
