Friend of Egypt

Alexander and Alexandra went back to Egypt as soon as they could. Alexander really wanted to find that relic in the Great Pyramid.

However, Alexandra had other ideas. She really wanted to spend some quality time with her husband.

Of course Alexander did go back to the pyramid eventually. He found the relic, and decided he was really fed up with the whole MorcuCorp nonsense.
So he spent the rest of his vacation helping out random strangers who lost relics in tombs he'd already explored... This helped him gain visa points until he was at level 3.

The first thing he did was buy himself a Certificate of Friendship with Egypt - just in case he wants to come back later.
The next day he bought a Tear of Horus. This helped him find all the best dig spots in town:

He sold his relics to the merchant, and also bought a few, to complete some of his collections. By now he's so famous that he can get a pretty good discount from the relics merchant!

On the other hand, being famous does have its disadvantages when you want to spend a quiet, romantic evening with your wife!!

Alexander and Alexandra didn't stay until the end of their vacation. Alexandra wanted to go home early, and there was really nothing important left for them to do.
Alexander managed to complete two of his collections: the canopic jars and the gold figurines. He also has all the fossilized fruits, even though that collection as such isn't worth anything. It just amuses him to have them all...

He also has both dropa stones and the two dangerous creatures that are found in Egypt. The rest of that collection can be found in France and China.

Alexandra took a few very good photographs. Including one of Abu Simbel that is worth more than a thousand Simoleons.

They also brought home another souvenir, which Alexandra didn't discover until she woke up the next morning and spent the first hour of the day hanging over the toilet bowl...

So I guess their trip to China has to be postponed for a while.
