The Rich and Famous.....

Sheila Adams (née Harrell) has the Lifetime Wish of living the "Lifestyle of the Rich and Famous". In order to do this, she needs Celebrity level 5, and 100,000 Simoleons in the bank.
She worked her way up to 4 stars without any problems, but now she's stuck. She knows 60 famous Sims (on a total population of 75) and the family have about 25,000 Simoleons in cash.

One thing that she can do, of course, is go to bars and try to get recognised. And get celebrity discounts. It works most of the time, but it's slow going for her star level.

Even rescuing a burning, spontaneously combusting Raoul Mendez in Tucan Sam's bar doesn't give her the notoriety she craves.

(I wonder why Raoul didn't just jump in the pool, though!)

At home, she texts everyone in her relationship panel who has a celebrity star. It takes her all night.

In the meantime, Roger has a gig on the new casino houseboat, so Sheila goes with him to bask in reflected glory.

She even strikes up a conversation with her much-disliked aunt-by-marriage, Rosanna Harrell. They become tentative friends, at the expense of poor Judith Adams.

Sheila even visits her aunts on their boat.

And then, all of a sudden, she becomes a level 5 celebrity. Since I didn't understand why (she was having a drink in an otherwise empty bar at the time) I checked her journal, and found she knows 61 celebrities now.

Number 60 was her nephew Benjamin, who got a foothold on stardom just by talking to his 4 and 5 star level parents. And number 61 is Walter, who has aged up so he's now interacting with the celebrities who are his relatives.

Once she got to the required level of celebrity, I checked the other Sims in the household, and Shawn, Dexter and Lori all had plenty of LTR parts they weren't using - so I had them all get an 'inheritance' - basically 30,000 Simoleaons for 30,000 LTR points - and Sheila achieved her lifetime wish!

Next round I'll be using that money to have Roger and Sheila move out and start having babies. (All my other young couples are making the attempt this round.) Sheila's been wanting a baby for a while, but the household is full.

And the first thing I did when she got there was get rid of the paparazzi.
