The Travelers

Alexander and Alexandra decided to take a trip to France this time. (Alexandra immediately rolled the wish to have another baby, the moment they arrived. Unfortunately for her, the house is full.)

Alexander didn't really feel like doing anything too strenuous, so after retrieving a baseball and discovering a secret garden in somebody's basement, he decided to concentrate on nectar making.

In the meantime, Alexandra had been taking photographs, but she didn't find Champ-les-Sims very interesting. There are no landmarks, unless you count the Eiffel Tower in the distance (too far away to capture on photograph).
So she decided to go to the nectary as well. After sampling a few of the nectars, she figured she could help Alexander's efforts by upgrading the nectar makers.

It took Alexander a long time to get that 'very nice' nectar needed, but in the end he did it. By that time Alexandra was ready to go home...

She hung her pictures on the wall - mostly they were of flowers and fruit, and a very nice Egyptian relic she found in the French market...

After hanging her photographs on the garage wall, Alexandra started to look for more subjects for her photographs. She found that somehow the software in her camera refused to label her pictures from Winchester, so she decided, as an experiment to take a side trip to Sunset Valley. (Using NRaas Traveler services, of course.)

She took some pictures around town, including photographs of a lot of Sims in the park...

She then made a side trip to Egypt. Alexander had wanted to go with her, but something went wrong with the reservations (in other words: I clicked too fast). So she had to go alone.
She took more pictures of the sphynx and some pyramids, and when she got home, she built a huge wall in the garden for them.

Alexandra now has a World Class Gallery, and has achieved her Lifetime Wish. She decided to sell half her gallery, though, because her in-laws objected to the wall obstructing their view.

Alexander decided that since he hadn't been to Egypt, he might as well go to France by himself. He had planned on doing a bit of fishing, maybe providing the locals with some frogs... Unfortunately,, nobody seemed to want frogs.

However, a lot of people were looking for information and papers regarding Admiral Landgraab. So in the end Alexander gave in, and he visited that trap-riddled chateau a few times.

(That last picture is Alexander testing out the Sands of Understanding, and finding they were useless. Very pretty and sparkly, but they told him nothing new...)

Fortunately after two visits to the chateau and one to the groundkeeper's lodge, Alexander managed to get his visa up to level 3. That fulfilled his Lifetime Wish, too.

(He also discovered that it's actually hard to tell the difference between the Certificate of Partnership for Egypt and that for France. Apparently a lot of countries think that red, white and blue are unique colours for a flag...)
