Lifetime Wishes and Careers

I've done almost all the Lifetime Wishes and careers that I feel are possible in this town, with a rotation style play (i.e. not supernatural, alien, future-oriented or resetting/broken).

These are the careers that are left to do now, with the Sims who are attempting to do them (if I have any):

- Acting/Actor - Raphael Bernard and Layla Adams
- Art Appraiser/Acquisition
- Fortune Teller/Mystic - Bianca Kim
- Fortune Teller/Scam Artist - Constance McGovern
- Journalism - Janelle Harrell and Alexander Kim
- Politics - Blake Samson
- Sports Agent - Ernest Thao
- Band
- Horseman - Raoul Mendez
- Nectar Maker - Dominic Mendez
- Singer - Margaret McGovern
- Architectural Designer
- Daycare
- Firefighter
- Gardener - Tracie Mendez
- Lifeguard
- Scuba Diver

So, the rest of this round I wanted to spend a little extra time with Sims working on these careers, and possibly find some 'victims' for the ones I haven't started yet.

* * *

It was the turn of the McGoverns first. Buddy aged up with the wish to become a Master Romancer. Trevor and Gillian already accomplished their wishes.
Margaret wants to be a Vocal Legend. She rolled that wish herself, so I 'promised' it, since it's one that I still need to complete. And it makes sense for a rock star's daughter to want to become a singer.

Trevor is working as a rock star now - holding autograph sessions and giving concerts.

Stacia McGovern is getting used to living alone again. She stopped mourning her roommate, Gwendolyn, and is concentrating on her job for a change. She discovered that writing negative reviews sometimes gives her a job performance boost, so she's been tearing down every movie and every restaurant in town!

She's reached level 5 as a journalist now, so she decided it's high time to switch careers again. Best choice was to go into Business, working for Shawn Adams and her own daughter-in-law, Gina Bernard. All you need for that career is to get along with your boss and co-workers. (And she does have enough points for several rewards that make that easier.)

She gets her first promotion mostly by reading a book on Caffeine Culture.

She needs to get to level 5 before she reaches retirement age, so I think I'd better look in on her often.

The Mendez family was next. Dominic had some very expensive nectar left from his travels to France, so when he only needed about 7,000 Simoleons to get to the next level he sold 3 of these old bottles, plus a few of his own, and he's now a Master Nectar Craftsman.

Raoul needed a bit more help, but he did finally manage to win enough races to get to level 9 of his jockey career without having to sell a horse. (Well, apart from the time that he sold Dany and bought her back again...)
Hopefully he'll reach level 10 by himself. If not, he'll get there in the next round.

Julietta is a toddler now, and she's learning to walk. She races all across the farm in her little horse walker.

In the meantime, Tracie Mendez is still working on her garden, but it's hard earning cash from it when your father-in-law keeps using the best fruit for his nectar... Next round she's going to concentrate on her own career for a change!

Next up was the Samson/Sommers family. Blake was almost there, so for the next two days he was forced to 'work hard' for a change. I'm pretty sure that this is NOT why he became a politician.

But now he's the Leader of the Free World and he's the first Sim in Winchester to complete the political career. That should make him happy? Right?

Well, maybe not...

I actually switched between Blake and his brother-in-law, Christopher Sommers, pushing them both to work hard.
Christopher also made it to the top of his career. So he's now a World-Renowned Surgeon, and on top of that, he achieved his Lifetime Wish of becoming a Scientific Specialist.
