Horseplay

The Mendez family have three horses: Dany, Belladonna and Scarlet. Scarlet is a foal they adopted from the shelter.

Here's Juan Mendez, who recently aged up to child, feeding Scarlet.

He loves all the horses, but Dany is his favourite.

Raoul likes Dany, too, but he realises that she will never really be as successful as Belladonna when it comes to racing.
He decides to try his hand at horse breeding next. The equestrian center has quite a few stallions available, and the stud he picks for Dany is called Sleipnir Horse.

Apparently, Dany is wondering whether she may have twins...

She only has one foal, though. It's a boy, and they decide to name him Chico. He looks a lot like his father.

Since Dany is occupied with her baby, it's down to Belladonna to win trophies. Which she does. The additional prize money is enough to get Raoul a promotion. He's now at level 6 of his career. I guess selling one of his horses would give him enough money to get promoted again, but he is too fond of all of them!!

Lastly, a picture of Tracie reading to Juan. He doesn't know it yet, but this may be the last time he has his mother's undivided attention in a long while. Tracie's been spotted hanging over the toilet bowl, nauseous from 'unknown causes'.

The last thing Tracie does before I move on is to gorge herself on watermellons. She's heard that they will help if she wants a little girl...

Elsewhere in town, Christopher Sommers has been having trouble keeping the house clean since Jeannine left.

He's a very good doctor - in fact, he does save a life while he's in the laundromat - but he's not a very good housekeeper.

Jeannine and Donovan are engaged now, and she moved in with the Harrell family.

She and Christopher have decided on co-parenting - but Jeannine will only have the kids when I'm playing her. Otherwise it gets too complicated...

Fortunately for Christopher it won't be too long before the kids age up. They'll be a lot easier to handle when they're school age. Or so he hopes!
