Double wedding

One fine sunny (what other weather is there?) day, the Thao boys both decide that a double wedding would be fun.

The Thao twins tend to do everything together - so it's only natural that they decide to both propose at the same time.

Fortunately both girls are on board with the idea of a double wedding. They've been best friends since elementary school, after all.

So a few days later, Tom organises a wedding party for his two sons, in the local park. He invites all their friends and relatives, but it's the middle of the day, so not everybody shows up for the ceremony itself.

By the time all the rings are finally on all the proper fingers, it's starting to get dark. And of course, that means that a lot of their guests are off work and can show up to raid the buffet.

(The father of the grooms with Kelsey Harrell, mother of one of the brides.)

In typical Sims fashion, by the time I finally got both couples hitched and everyone had shown up, it was too dark to take pictures of the guest... Sometimes herding Sims is like herding cats...

* * *

Jeremy and Danelle stay in the big house with Samantha and Tom, but Jonathan and Lucia buy a new house. Kelsey transfers a large sum of money to her daughter as part of Wesley's inheritance, and they use it to buy a very nice adobe on Desert Street.

Danelle soon has her first child: Timothy Thao.

A few days later, Judith and Brandon Adams have their first child as well: Dexter Adams, the next heir.

And Nathan and Abbie Harrell have a son: Leonard Harrell.

Lucia and Jonathan decide to wait a little while, and concentrate on their careers first. (And on furnishing their house, presumably.)

In the meantime, the Kim family apparently suffered from 'empty nest syndrome'. They had twin girls - Yue Xiulan and Xiu Ying.

(I was in time to name the first baby, but the game insisted on calling the second girl "Billie". So the family had to go to city hall to officially change it. Then the game crashed and I had to do it again. This happened three times - the game *really* seems to have liked Billie Kim as a name!)
