Harmony

It took a few days to straighten out the teens, and in the meantime Regina got pregnant, too.
The baby is a boy, and they name him Dominic.

And this is where they live:

* * *

In the meantime Harmony has worked her way up to vegetable slicer. She decides to go to France to pick up more recipes.

While in France, she meets another vegetarian. She really likes him, so she decides to pay him a visit the next day. They talked about cooking for a while, but then his roommate walks in. He takes one look at Harmony and comes over to join the conversation.

I think he only pretends to be interested in cooking - seems to me he has eyes only for the cook! At some point, the roommate walks away... I guess he can see that he's been beaten...

And at some point, Harmony and Yves apparently find it necessary to don their pyama's...

Fact is, the rest of Harmony's vacation is not spent on learning all about crepes and cheese platters!

The trip is very short, and Harmony soon has to go back to Mesa Valley, back to work.
She does read the recipes she brought, but somehow she doesn't feel much like cooking. She doesn't know why, but she's feeling a bit sick. Maybe she misses Yves?

However, the next day she discovers the real cause of her nausea:

She decides to invite Yves over, so she can discuss the situation with him.

They talk about it for a long time - but by the time it's dark, they have decided they want to try to make their relationship work.

They waste no time on big weddings and parties and get married right there and then, on the driveway.

The Thao house only has two bedrooms - one for the girls (which Harmony now shared with Terra) and one for the boys. So there really isn't much room for Yves and Harmony to have some privacy.

The problem is that Regina moved out and bought a house, so by now the family budget is rather low. I think Tom and Samantha had expected to have some time to save up before the next wedding.

In the end, they settle for a trailer. Selling some of the surplus bedroom furniture and a few other small items earns them just enough money to buy the smallest trailer in Mesa Valley.

So the Bernard family settles in, and soon after they move their son Julien is born.
Yves really enjoys being a father.

His brother-in-law, in the meantime, thinks fatherhood is overrated. It certainly involves a whole lot of laundry.

Terra is the only girl left at home now. And she's just about the only single person in the family. Jeremy is going steady with Danelle, the babysitter, while Jonathan has started dating Lucia Harrell.

By the way, Lucia and Jeremy are in no way related, except by marriage. Lucia's half-sister Corey is married to Jeremy's uncle (his mother's brother).
