Mesa Valley: aging up, some deaths, and a new beginning

In the meantime Elden has settled in, and has started a new novel. Not sure why, because there's only his family and the service Sims to read it...

That same week Corey becomes a full adult, while Victor ages up to teenager.

Victor now has new highschool classmates. There are just two of them, both babysitters. Victor tries to go on a few dates with the female babysitter, but it's not working out so well. She's not only a kleptomaniac, but she's also insane.

Victor tries to talk to her, but every time he does, he gets creeped out.

Unfortunately there's not much choice when you live in a post-Apocalyptic desert... For the time being, Victor prefers to stay single.

* * *

At this point suddenly everybody starts dying. First Frederick, and then Elden, followed by  Francesca and Keeley Harrell.
Frederick, Elden and Francesca all die as soon a they run out of 'safe' elder days, but Keely lived to be over 100 days old.

Wesley Harrell moves in with his daughter - and for the next few days the house is depressing, with everybody mourning just about every hour of the day - no wonder, with four deaths to cope with...

* * *

In the meantime the Tao triplets become toddlers:

Terra is the readhead, Harmony has black hair (I guess she gets that from her grandmother Francesca?) and Regina had no hair at all at that age.

Their parents have their hands full. Between them, Samantha and Tom manage to teach them to walk and talk, to potty train them, and even read them some of the toddler books.

After a week or so, all three kids are educated - but Tom did have to quit his job to get it done in time!

And now he's probably glad that his only pets are fish. :-)

* * *

Back at the Adams household, things are back to normal. Wesley is in the house alone for most of the day while the others are at work and school.
Keeley was 24 days (24 years on a 90-day lifespan) older than her husband, and Wesley has a big chunk of 'elderhood' left. And I don't think he wants to spend it as a fifth wheel in his daughter's household.

I guess that's why he struck up a friendship with the maid.

This maid happened to be flirty, and also probably looking for a better place to stay than the 'NPC household' with another 30 drudges...

From the way she keeps smirking and rubbing her palms, my guess was she was evil, too...But Wesley doesn't seem to care.
And it was too much fun to let the romance continue. Besides, I have a town to populate! And I rather liked the maid, whose name was Kelsey, by the way (like a mix between Keely and Wesley... It must be fate...)

So they are married quickly (still on the bistro patio), and they both move into Wesley's old house.

Wesley starts working as a professional fisherman, and Kelsey joins law enforcement. (She wanted to be a Private Eye, but settled for the next best thing.)

They immediately take steps to start a family - before Corey even knows she has a new stepmother, the first half-sibling is on the way!

And here they are - Wesley is thrilled to become a father again. And Kelsey seems to be thrilled to have a new home more than anything...

But how will Corey handle the news that she'll be getting a new half-sibling at her age?
