Family reunion - and a visit to Egypt

So, this was supposed to be the Adams Legacy, right? Maybe it's time to get back to the Adams household? Let's see.
Brandon is a child. He has red hair, like his father (Jesse), grandfather (Frederick) and great-grandfather (David) before him. So naturally he's the heir. Because redheads rule!

Victor is actually quite happy that he doesn't have to deal with the pressure of preserving the family legacy.
He's in the music career, and doing very well.

Sun Young is learning to paint.

I'm not sure where she got the inspiration for that particular picture - it can't have been the view. (Unless she's seeing a mirage that I can't see, of course!)

Both Victor and Sun Young really want to have a baby. It's the one wish that comes up every time somebody enters their house.

Sun Young's sister-in-law calls to say she is pregnant, and Sun Young is really jealous.

Corey Adams ends up taking an unexpected trip to China (she thought she was booking a flight to Egypt for Jesse), and she can't think of anything constructive to do, so she visits Sun Young's brother and his family.  Of course she brings home pictures of little Yi Quan (who aged up really fast, because China is no place for babies, apparently...)

Victor decides that with a bit of effort he can make room in the house for a crib, and he and Sun Young decide to try for a baby of their own.

A little while later Sun Young gives birth to a baby boy, and they call him Chen.

I don't think they can find room for a single bed, though, so I don't think they'll be living here much longer...

So, there are now once again four households in Mesa Valley. The Adams Legacy family, Victor Adams, the Thao household, and the Harrell clan.

When Chen ages up he sleeps on the sofa for a while, but that's not really a permanent solution.

So they move to Wesley Harrell's old house (the one he lived in when he was first married to Kelsey), and they buy a new easel as well as some toys for Chen.

Chen is a lot happier with a bed - but he doesn't really care for a desk much...

And one day Ho Sung comes by for a visit. Sun Young realises she really misses having her own family around, and she'd love for him to move to Mesa Valley. Ho Sung thinks it would be a great idea - he could get a good job, and Yi Quan could go to school here.

Somewhere during the conversation, Sun Young actually got the wish to ask her brother to move in. I figured the town could use another family, so I had her ask.

He moves in with her, with his wife - but without his son!! So now he has to go back to China to get him. Fortunately he's still there, so adding him to the active family is easy, because in Mesa Valley there's such a thing as SuperComputer. (Yes, I caved and added a mod.)

Getting him used to his new life - including school - is a lot harder. He's not happy with the school bus. Or his homework.

Nope. Not a happy camper!

Next up it's Daniel Harrell's birthday. Wesley decides to take his family to Egypt for the occasion - before Daniel actually grows up. Mostly because Daniel rolled the LTW of 'visionary' as a child - and he locked it in.

Of course the best place to go for photo cameras is Egypt, and Wesley really wants to buy a nice one for Daniel's birthday.
They do need to do a bit of excavating to get enough money for a really REALLY nice camera, of course. But Wesley soon manages to buy his son the coveted Hikon.

Meanwhile Daniel tells everyone about his future plans. Paint a lot, learn photography, and become a brilliant artist.
This little boy has big dreams.

When they get home, they celebrate his birthday. I'm surprised that Wesley is actually alive to see his
son become a teenager. I'd stopped giving him life fruit a long while ago, but he keeps hanging on!

Brandon Adams is only a few days younger than his half-uncle. He's also a teenager now.

And one last picture of Daniel and Nathan, right before Nathan's birthday.

And Lucia, still selling her baked goodies.

It won't be long now before Nathan, Jonathan, Jeremy, and finally Lucia will age up. The town will be filled with teenagers!
